In this great journey that is life, we are all adventurers, dreamers, seekers of magic. But all too often, we find ourselves shackled by our habits, locked into our everyday comforts. Yet deep within us, a wild fire burns, a consuming passion that calls us to adventure, exploration and discovery. We all have this voice inside us that calls us to discover, to change horizons, to find a passion.
But if we don't dare, it's because we are often limited by false beliefs. For my part, I've undertaken some deep inner work to understand myself, my aspirations, and above all to grasp the destiny that God has planned for me.
Today I'd like to talk about my comfort zone.
But what exactly does that mean?

Over time, this zone can become like a golden cage, preventing us from living life to the full and discovering the wonders that surround us. It's like our psychological comfort bubble where we feel safe and at ease, far from challenges and unknown situations. It's where our habits, behaviours, skills and knowledge keep us feeling stable, minimising uncertainty and risk.
To put it simply, imagine yourself sipping your favourite drink. Well, that's what the comfort zone is all about! It's that place in our heads where we feel super at ease, where everything is familiar and reassuring at all times. So what are we waiting for to free ourselves and let our souls soar?

I'm going to give you a few tips on how to break this routine and get to the heart of the matter now. I'd like to remind you that this is my truth and that there are other ways of approaching this subject, but I'm simply sharing with you my experience and my thoughts on the subject.
I'd like to sum them up in 5 points.
To begin with, here are two crucial steps for breaking the shackles of our comfort zone and embracing the adventure of life. I've deliberately chosen extreme examples, but the essential thing is to surpass yourself, whatever the challenge. The idea is to face our fears, even the smallest ones, because we have nothing to prove to anyone. Sometimes this can be as simple as speaking in public or striking up a conversation with a stranger in the street.

Whatever the level of challenge, the important thing is to feel the emotional impetus to get out of our comfortable cocoon and explore the world around us.
1)- Dare the Unknown and 2)- Challenge your Limits: Imagine deciding to sign up for a dance class, even though you've never danced in your life. How would you feel about the idea? What would your expectations and fears be? Perhaps you might recall a past experience where you overcame a similar fear. For me, the rides were a source of anxiety following a bad experience.
For a long time, this prevented me from exploring new thrilling activities. However, one day I decided to defy this fear by trying the iFly, an indoor free-fall simulation. The feeling of freedom and adrenalin I experienced was indescribable, and it gave me the courage to continue exploring new challenges.
I always remember Paulo Coelho's quote "If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine. It's deadly." It's a bit like when I decided to take up rafting despite my fear of water. Moving on to step two, Challenge Your Limits: Think of a goal you've always put off for fear of failure. What mental barriers are holding you back? Perhaps you remember a time when you succeeded in going beyond your limits.
As I mentioned earlier about rafting, I had an unforgettable experience in my young life despite the risks involved. I've always been afraid of water because I nearly drowned once, so despite this fright I overcame my fear of water to navigate rapids without knowing how to swim. I decided to embark on this adventure with a group of friends. Sailing rapids without knowing how to swim was an exhilarating and memorable experience. It showed me that I'm capable of overcoming my fears. It remains engraved in my memory, and despite the risks, it was an unforgettable experience. Rest assured, I've been taking swimming lessons ever since. OK, I'm average, but I manage, I won't be going to the championships! What challenges would you like to take on?

3) - Tame Discomfort: Think of a situation where you had to face up to a major fear, such as public speaking. What were your feelings and thoughts before taking on this challenge? How did you manage to overcome your fears? And what lessons have you learned from this experience? It's a real challenge for me, as an introvert, to speak in public. Before each speech, I feel a mixture of apprehension and excitement. But through careful preparation and practice, I've managed to channel my fears and concentrate on the message I want to convey. This experience has taught me the importance of preparation, self-confidence and perseverance. It also showed me that even in moments of discomfort, it's possible to find your voice and share your story with authenticity. That's why I encouraged my children to take drama classes from an early age, so that they could gain confidence and express their ideas with ease...
4) - Let us be carried away by the magic of discovery by exploring subjects that arouse our curiosity.

Imagine yourself immersed in a fascinating book, captivated by every word that broadens your horizons... For me, true fulfilment lies in the constant desire to improve and go beyond our limits. As a personal example, every online course I take or complete is an adventure in itself, an opportunity to grow and learn in this vast ocean of knowledge at our disposal. And why not venture to a conference, where every word spoken sounds like a melody of infinite possibilities?

Let's dare to explore the unknown, because that's where life's most precious treasures are hidden. By stepping out of our comfort zone, we allow our curiosity to flourish, opening the door to new passions, new perspectives, and a deeper connection with the world around us. Let us be guided by our insatiable thirst to discover and grow, because that's where the real secret of happiness lies, at least for me!
5) - Dare to be ourselves, authentically and without compromise, even when this pushes us outside our comfort zone.

Let's remember those moments when we felt a deep connection with our true essence, far from masks and conventions. What was the feeling that emanated from your being when you were fully aligned with your authenticity, even in uncomfortable situations? How can we invite more of these moments of truth into our lives, despite the pressures of society and the fears of vulnerability? By embracing our authenticity, even when it means challenging established norms, how might we inspire those around us to do the same, creating a space of freedom and mutual respect? What inspiring stories could you share with others to encourage them to show themselves as they really are, even outside their comfort zone? By cultivating this authenticity, what unique contribution could we make to humanity, leaving our mark on the very fabric of existence ?
There's much more to getting out of your comfort zone than these 5 points. The aim is not to exhaust all the possibilities in this reflection, but rather to open a door to a multitude of opportunities for exploration and personal growth...

To conclude, let's awaken the child in us. You must remember those magical moments of our childhood, when every day was an adventure to be lived and every street corner was a mystery to be discovered. What dreams did you leave behind when you grew up? What desires still lie dormant in your heart, waiting to be awoken by your courage? Adult life can sometimes trap us in a monotonous routine, in a comfort zone that stifles our deepest aspirations. But by allowing ourselves to be guided by the flame of wonder that still burns within us, we rediscover the courage to explore the unknown, to defy the limits and to make our wildest dreams come true!
So dare to dream again, dare to venture into unknown territory, and let the child in you guide you towards a future full of promise and infinite possibilities!
